Sallied:formal or humorous set out from a place to do something:

Misanthropic:having or showing a dislike of other people; unsociable:
a misanthropic drunken loner

Congenial:pleasant or agreeable because suited to one’s taste or inclination:
he went back to a climate more congenial to his cold stony soul

Balustrades:a railing supported by balusters, especially one forming an ornamental parapet to a balcony, bridge, or terrace.

Fettered:confine or restrict someone:
he was not fettered by tradition

Surplus:an amount of something left over when requirements have been met; an excess of production or supply:
exports of food surpluses

    What an array of words. I’m pleased that you attempted to use them in sentences of your own. I’ve always had a soft spot for the word ‘misanthrope’; maybe it’s the misanthropes I feel sorry for.
